Versature Achieves 1-1-1 Corporate Philanthropy Status

Versature is proud to announce we have officially reached the 1-1-1 designation of corporate philanthropy! This means that we have pledged 1% of our equity, 1% of our time, and 1% of our services to charitable endeavours.

The 1-1-1 Pledge is Salesforce-certified as part of the Salesforce.com Foundation integrated philanthropic model. The Pledge invites all entrepreneurs and their companies to commit important resources (product/services, equity, and time) to support integrating philanthropy into their business from an early stage.

Community involvement and charitable giving has been ingrained in the corporate culture at Versature for years. Prior to making The Pledge, the company has already been involved in a number of nonprofit activities, including providing telecommunications support for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation annual telethon, Startup Canada, the Ottawa Fringe Festival, the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, and more. Versature provides each employee with one paid volunteer day per year to use volunteering at an event or for a charitable organization of their choice. The Versature executive lead the charge on the volunteer front, with each member encouraging community involvement among their teams and fulfilling meaningful volunteer positions themselves at groups such as EO (the Entrepreneurs’ Organization), Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais – Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR), and the Ottawa Product Management Association.
