It was an exciting two days at this year’s Dx3 conference, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 8-9. The event featured a wide range of attendees, speakers, and exhibitors from Canada’s leading technology, digital marketing, and retail firms.
Exhibiting on the showroom floor, members of the Versature marketing team were able to put a playful spin on business VoIP communications. A game of Giant Jenga brought out people’s competitive side and allowed us to host a wide range of attendees at our booth, discussing everything from their marketing aspirations to business communication services. Exhibiting at Dx3 allowed us to unveil a new Versature offering for marketing teams across Canada. The Marketing Package, an add-on to existing Versature plans, is designed for high performing, data-driven marketing teams to improve the accuracy of lead attribution across digital and offline campaigns. Users are given a pool of unique phone numbers (regional or toll-free) which they can then assign to their various campaigns. A short “Campaign ID” is affixed to the inbound caller ID information on all calls coming in to these various campaign phone numbers, informing inbound sales representatives of the source campaign of the caller for proper lead attribution and ROI analysis.

Another hot commodity at Dx3 2017 was the Versature suite of cloud integrations. From Salesforce to Slack to Klipfolio, integrations with leading SaaS platforms means Versature always delivers more than just a dial tone. Attendees were especially interested in learning more about the Versature Slack integration, which allows users to create custom channels and notifications surrounding their inbound call traffic and dedicated marketing campaign phone numbers.
Egos and Eyeballs Don’t Pay the Bills
Anastasia Valentine, Versature’s VP Marketing, sent home a stellar presentation on the importance of data-driven marketing and making strategic, ROI-based decisions that complement ongoing sales team efforts. The presentation received one of the biggest turnouts at the Open Air Theatre, leaving only standing room for those last-minute attendees!
