Per-User vs. Per-Line Fees

Traditional phone companies force you to decide up-front how many incoming and outgoing lines you will need, and charge you monthly for them. Businesses are forced to anticipate their busiest business day and acquire the requisite number of lines (sometimes referred to as channels). Monthly costs for these lines can add up to substantial costs for the business, even though most of the time these lines sit idle. There are no refunds provided for slow times (like Christmas), and no quick way to add lines in busy times (you'll need to plan ahead by at least a month, not to mention the time it will take to add these lines into your phone system).
Versature's Hosted PBX service uses a different approach. Our base package includes 5 incoming lines for $5/month. This means that up to 5 different customers could be calling your business, and all will get through. Even better, outgoing calls made on the Versature system do not count against those incoming 5. The number of outgoing calls is only limited by the available bandwidth in your office. So there will always be 5 lines available for customers who call.
